Why quench and temper wires?

Heating technology

Induction technology is also used for the heating of wires, which also takes place continuously. The ring coils used, which if possible have an insignificant inner diameter than the wire, allow extremely fast and homogeneous heating of the wire in the entire volume. Similar to tubes and rods, the wire is hardened and tempered in one line. The wire is usually fed via an unwinding unit, followed by an alignment line and a rewinding unit or shear for cutting the sections.
